Manager, Asset Strategy and Planning

 

Shape asset strategy and plan for asset management success in this key management role at the Office of Sport! 

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Asset Strategy and Planning to join our team on a full-time, ongoing basis. The role will be based at Sydney Olympic Park with hybrid work options.

We offer a competitive salary to the right candidate with total remuneration package ranging from $139,787 up to $ 161,663 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading.

About the role

The Manager, Asset Strategy and Planning is responsible for shaping and implementing high-quality asset management policies, strategies and frameworks as well as developing portfolio investment programs to ensure the Office’s assets are fit and suitable for purpose.

The role works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation and continuous improvement in asset management practices across the agency.

About you

Our ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience in asset management, strategy, asset planning and investment and whole-of-government compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated senior leadership and project management experience.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant statutory compliance and management requirements.  
  • Experience in operating and managing an asset management system is considered favourable, but not essential.
