This agency is known for having a great culture across different teams and have excellent office locations.  This is a great opportunity for multiple EL1 Policy Lead to join this busy team for a long term 12-month temporary assignment.

About the role:

  • Leading a team to develop contemporary and informed policy and strategies.
  • Building relationships and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leading development of policy and corporate documents to a high standard.
  • Designing and delivering engagement activities.
  • Using data and technical inputs to form recommendations.
  • Leading reform projects in line with the Agency's wider reform program. Managing and providing policy leadership to a team.
  • Contributing to building a positive and high performing team culture.

About you:

  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
  • Superior communication and stakeholder management skills • Collaborative approach, working well in teams and with limited direction
  • Policy and team leadership experience
  • Experience developing and interpreting policy, analysing data and information, preparing and reviewing policy papers, reports, presentations, briefings and correspondence.
  • Candidates with an understanding and experience relating to the disability sector and market will be considered favourably.
  • A relevant bachelor degree

Benefits:

  • ASAP start (pending Federal Police Clearance)
  • 12-month temporary assignment with the possibility of extension
  • Full time hours Monday to Friday
  • Geelong, Richmond, Surry Hills and Brisbane + hybrid working from home options.
  • $602.55 per day + Super
