Exciting Opportunity: Facility Manager Wanted along the South West VIC Coast

The Opportunity:
 As the Facility Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our home, ensuring high-quality care and support services are provided in line with our values and standards. You will manage staff, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintain our commitment to excellence in care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management:   Oversee daily operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment.
  • Compliance & Quality:   Ensure all activities meet regulatory standards and deliver the highest quality of care.
  • Team Coordination:   Lead and mentor a dedicated team of aged care professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work culture.
  • Budget Management:   Develop and manage budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Resident Relations:   Build strong relationships with residents and their families, addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Continuous Improvement:   Implement and monitor processes to improve operational efficiency and resident satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing (RN) or degree is Business Operations.
  • Current registration with AHPRA ideally.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in residential aged care.
  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation and quality standards.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Previous nursing management experience is desirable.
