Principal Electrical Engineer
Queensland Rail is seeking a passionate Senior Electrical Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping the safety, performance, and reliability of our track maintenance rollingstock fleet. Benefits that count:
Remuneration: Starting from annual base salary of $155,500 + 12.75% Superannuation (Proposed Increase as of March 2025 to a range of $160,000 - 171,800).

About the role:
This specialist engineering position supports the development, maintenance, and improvement of our track maintenance rollingstock across Southeast Queensland and Regional Queensland, including hybrid power systems for low-emission and noise-free operations. With plans to procure advanced rollingstock for track upgrades and maintenance, this role offers the chance to innovate and deliver value to our rail network.
