Wesfarmers has announced Dene Rogers as Managing Director of its retail chain, Target, effective 2 November 2011.
Mr Rogers served as chief executive officer of North American retail giant Sears Canada since 2006, overseeing a major diversification and business expansion during his tenure.
Prior to his tenure with Sears Canada, Mr Rogers was Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Sears-owned Kmart retail chain, where he oversaw 1,500 stores and US$18 billion in revenue.
