Thousands of South Australians could save hundreds on their annual power bills thanks to a new discount deal.

The SA Government has brokered a deal with Origin Energy for consumers who currently receiving energy concessions, which could see them save an extra $585 a year.

“Thousands of South Australian households struggle to pay high utility costs and that is why we re-negotiated a better deal from an 18 to 20 per cent discount to help people who need it,” Human Services Minister Michelle Lensink said.
