Mining giant Rio Tinto has announced the appointment of Paul Dean as the Chief Financial Officer for Rio Tinto Diamonds.

Mr Dean, who is an experienced finance executive, will be based out of the group’s London headquarters and will report directly to Bruce Cox, Managing Director of Diamonds.

"I am delighted with Paul's appointment and his extensive experience will be invaluable in leading the future direction of the Diamonds business,” Mr Cox said.
