Nexus Energy has announced the appointment of Seven West’s CEO Don Voelte as the company’s new Non-Executive Chairman, and will take over the roll mid next month.

 

Mr Voelte will take over from long serving Non-Executive Chairman Michael Fowler. In addition to Mr Fowler’s departure, the company has announced longstanding directors Michael Arnett, Ian Boserio and Steve Lowden will also be leaving the company.

 

Mr Fowler welcomed the appointment of Mr Volete, saying his extensive experience in the energy sector will help guide the company through the coming years.

 

“We are delighted that Don Voelte has decided to join the Board, he has a wealth of industry experience having transformed Woodside Petroleum Limited (Woodside) during his seven year tenure as Chief Executive Officer,” Mr Fowler said.
