Flood steps down from Myer Board of Directors
Myer has announced the retirement of Tom Flood from the company’s Board of Directors.
Mr Flood joined the board in 2007, having been a director of Myer Holdings since 2009 as a member of the Audit, Finance and Risk Committee.
Myer Chairman, Howard McDonald, said Mr Flood had made a significant contribution to the Board over the past five years.
“Tom’s considerable retail industry experience was an asset as he focused on improving the performance of stores during the vital turnaround period of Myer. His guidance during this time was extremely valuable, as has been his contribution as a Director since listing,” Mr McDonald said.
“On behalf of the Myer Board, management and shareholders, I thank Tom for his service and wish him well.”
Mr Flood’s resignation will be effective from the end of April.
