Angus Houston to chair Airservices
The Federal Government has announced Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston (Ret’d) as the next Chair of Airservices as of June next year.
Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston has joined the Airservices Board today and will replace David Forsyth, the current Chair of the Board, when his second term as Chair expires next year.
His experience will assist the Board in the delivery of a five year, $1 billion capital expenditure program which is replacing and upgrading vital air traffic infrastructure and improving aerodrome rescue and firefighting services.
Airservices has been working closely with the Royal Australian Air Force over the past few years to harmonise civil and military air traffic management and deliver improved safety and efficiency.
