AFP raids forex firm
The AFP has raided the offices of an online foreign currency broker accused of harassing and pressuring clients into losing thousands.
Officers from the Australian Federal Police alongside officials from ASIC searched the Melbourne office of ForexCT - one of 70 forex brokers with an ASIC license.
The bank accounts of ForexCT were frozen and its director, Shlomo Yoshai was barred from leaving the country.
The warrant allegedly referred to several ForexCT employees, but the authorities have not officially confirmed that claim.
